K'sariya got mileage on Muk-Alolan, KOing two mons and crippling a third before it got taken down. The rest was 1 for 1 trades, with Mamo taking down Drapion and Archeops taking down Scolipede, with things starting to look a little bit up for MandL. However, then Nidoking came in and finished Archeops, ended the Raichu Muk had crippled, and oneshot the Intimidate Flame Orb Luxray.

(Clefable, Crobat, Starmie, Ambipom) v (Blastoise, Jumpluff, Infernape, Jynx)


Blastoise couldn't tank Clefable and Crobat, but got off some decent damage. Jumpluff got Sleep Powder on Crobat, but Starmie forced it out to a suboptimal Infernape. Tickle shenanigans ensued, but a lucky Jynx with some par on Ambipom let Jack aggress his way back in... until Starmie wrecked Jynx, with Jack choosing Sweet Kiss with an already Sleeping mon. Things looked bleak for Jack, but then Julio cursed himself:

Lotsa Roaring, DTailing and Whirlwinding, but K'sariya got huge value from Azumarill, which demolished Blaziken and Salamence, and finished Ninetales. Volcarona stuttered a little bit, but U-Turn ended up coming in handy.
