Claiming Hub

This is where you claim all of your posting rewards from Morphic! You can claim EMs and have new forms, Pokemon, and abilities approved here! Remember that all new EMs, abilities, and forms must be approved by an Arbiter before they can be claimed into your stats or RP'd with!

EM Claim
To claim an EM every 5 posts, use the form below. Remember that you don't earn EMs while still earning a new Pokemon in an earned form.

Code:
[b]Character:[/b] (character name, link this to your posting log for that character)
[b]Linked Pokemon:[/b] (link to the Pokemon in your stats that it's linked to)
[b]EMs Being Claimed:[/b] (which EMs you're claiming)

Form & Ability Claim
You earn a new form on a character every 25 character posts. When you unlock your character's first form at 25 posts, they automatically gain access to your URPG starter form along with the form of your choice. If you began with your URPG starter as your first form, you can choose two forms at 25 posts instead of one.

Code:
[b]Character:[/b] (character name, link this to your posting log for that character)
[b]Species:[/b]
[b]Gender:[/b]
[b]Form Type:[/b] (is this an earned or imported form? link to the linked Pokemon if imported)
[b]Appearance:[/b] (optional. if excluded, it will be assumed that it's your average-looking pokemon of that species)
[b]Abilities:[/b] (the available abilities on the Pokemon)

For each ability include:
Code:
[u]Ability Name[/u]
(description of the effect of that ability)

You can use all of the above form for claiming new abilities on an existing form, also!

Pokemon Claim
When you finish an earned form, you can use this form to claim that Pokemon into your stats! For a refresher, here's how many posts it takes for each rank of an earned Pokemon:
  • Easiest: 10 posts
  • Simple: 20 posts
  • Medium: 35 posts
  • Hard: 50 posts
  • Complex: 70 posts
  • Demanding: 90 posts
After you've completed and claimed the Pokemon, that form becomes an imported form that is attached to its linked counterpart in your stats!

Code:
[b]Character:[/b] (character name)
[b]Form Species:[/b] (which species you've finished earning)
[b]Posting Log[/b] (link to the posting log proving you've earned those posts here)

Clan Claim
If you've been greenlit for claiming a clan (event reward, uncontested claim, winning a clan challenge), you can use the below form to make your Clan official!

Code:
[b]Character:[/b] (character name, linked to post tracker)
[b]Proof of Claim:[/b] (the link to the reward or to the thread where you completed the claim/challenge)
[b]Clan Name:[/b] (the name of your clan)
[b]Clan Color:[/b] (what color you want the board name for your territory to be on the forums, to indicate the presence of your clan. Can be an exact hex or just a color name, will be adjusted for readability)
[b]Territory Description:[/b] (optional, a one to two-sentence description of where your Clan has settled into/changed the territory. Will be added to the end of the land description)
[b]Clan Page:[/b] (the intended contents of your clan page, whether in a spoiler here, or in a Google Doc/somewhere else accessible. Do not post the clan page in the chosen board until this Clan Claim request has been approved. You must have these contents finished before you can officially start the Clan. See the Clan Pages section of the Encyclopedia if needed)

Purchasable Items/Effects

$10,000 - Major Appearance Change
Purchasing this item gives you a one-time major appearance change on all of one character's forms. You don't need to buy this to look a certain way; this item is only for if you set your appearance when you signed up and want to make a major change to it after the fact. A major appearance change includes completely changing coat colors/patterns, full build (for example, going from a Doberman-styled Houndoom to a St. Bernard-styled Houndoom), etc.

$2,500 - Species Form Change
Purchasing this item gives you a one-time change of a species' form independent from that of its linked URPG counterpart. This is used for if you, for example, have a Rotom Mow but want to use a Rotom Frost in Morphic. This is purchasable for any Pokemon you would have to purchase a form change for in the Mart!

$3,500 - Ability Change/Upgrade
If you've used an ability before in a Morphic post, you have to purchase this change/upgrade in order to change it. If you've never used or activated the ability in a post, you do not have to purchase it; simply submit the ability free of charge. However, if you have made a post with it set as the active ability before (even if that ability didn't "affect" anything RP-wise), you still have to buy this change. Post your current version of the ability and the new one using the Ability form above to upgrade.

You'll need to make your character tracker sharable, but the posts are valid. You're good to grow!

I have officially made it to Io's first forms!!

Character: Io

Species: Absol
Form Type: Imported
Appearance: A larger-than-average Absol who bears Io's many scars. Her single eye is a bright blue instead of the usual bright red.
Abilities:
Pressure - Io's unwavering cool, calculated calm and watchful eyes prove unnerving for an opponent in battle. When Pressure is active, Io's opponents cannot use the same move twice in the row.
Super Luck - When Super Luck is active, happy "coincidences" happen a lot more often to Io, whether it's indescribably knowing to step aside a moment before a lightning bolt strikes the spot where she's standing or having a strange intuition to not drink the water. Super Luck gives her a killer gut feeling on something unbeknownst (and, more than likely, terrible) about to happen to her once per thread.

Species: Charizard
Form Type: Imported
Appearance: Io's Charizard form is... different. It bears a typical shiny coloration, with bright orange being replaced by a dark, charcoal gray with a silver underbelly, and the navy blue of her wings turning a stark blood-red. However, her Charizard form is marked with a striking white vitiligo splashed across her body, as well as bearing a light blue flame on her tail. The fire she breathes also shares this cerulean hue. Her right eye still bears the blue of her Aggron form's eye, and scars still cover her body.
Abilities:
Blaze - When exhausted or otherwise weakened, Io's fire type attacks grow more powerful: they burn hotter, reach further, and spread wider. However, this means that she has to be careful when fighting in certain terrains--she becomes unable to hold back or show restraint with fire moves once Blaze has activated, potentially putting herself, others, and the terrain around her in danger with her flames.

Heck yeah, approved!
